PREMIERE: RYAN OXFORD "FLASHES OF RAGE"
Ryan Oxford is a Portland, Oregon based artist in the midst of releasing his debut record titled Fa Fa Fa Fired via Mama Bird Recording Co. From getting a sneak peak off the album, which will be released on January 27th, we can only try to describe it as beautifully mellow, comforting, and true at heart. Oxford will be someone who'll definitely keep our attention as his venture unfolds.
While we wait for that, we can sit back and tune out to the first single off the record titled "Flashes of Rage". We got hooked in the very first few seconds and it won't take too long for you either. It's a very easy and serene listen. Enjoy it below:
"One night I drank way too much Fireball and Jager. Bad combo. Then I flipped my lid in front of the bar like a little kid and accused my ex-girlfriend of god knows what. I still feel terrible about it to this day. The next morning was a “pick up the pieces” type of morning where you bury your face in your pillow and your head fills up with shame and countless “I did WHAT’s?!”. Many of the those embarrassing, blurred memories made it into this playful Phil Spector girl group inspired tune." - Ryan Oxford
